It works at work, it works at home, it works.

When I first became a Christian, I envied people who worked in Christian organizations and business, They were able to live in their faith openly on their nine-to-five jobs. I had listened like a child as they talked about how they'd begin each day with corporate prayer and have lunch-hour Bible study fellowships. Then I wondered, What about me Lord?, I want to experience this feeling whether I have been invited by the masses or not. I had no idea that over time God would take me on a spiritual journey that I could not forget. The mission field I was assigned to was right here in my home connecting with those around me in a virtual space. The corporate environment that I worked in would never allow for me to lead these exercises, however there was an inside inside group, by invitation only. From my computer, inside my home, and from my office space I am able to provide insight, support, a listening ear, and a sound board to anyone who would like to take advantage of an experienced and educated opinion offering exercises and resources to get you to that place of sustainable well-being. Whether through blogging, or our 7 day journal writing exercise, telephone, chat, or email I am available for you and anyone you know that may need to talk through or work through the many obstacles we are faced within our everyday lives.

Although you may not be ready to have that one on one conversation as many times we do not want people to know what we are going through. We don't want other people to judge us, or think "I thought she was smarter than that", well this is not that. You would be surprised at just how many obstacles, and restarts some of us have gone through, and are open and willing to share that with you. I believe this creates an environment that will allow you to know it's alright, I get it, this is what I did, and this is what others who have shared with me did, and hopefully one of these processes will work for you.

Until you are ready for that one on one conversation I mentioned earlier, read through the blog postings, and find some comfort in written communication.

I learned a long time ago that it doesn't matter if you labor on the mission field in Communist China or if you wait tables at Denny's, if you are the CEO of a FORTUNE 500 company, you are equally as important to God.

POWER MOVE

There are opportunities and resources all around. In these cost-conscious times, many companies have either eliminated or cut back on training, so free classes or lectures may not be an option. However, for a nominal fee many community colleges offer one-day seminars and weekend programs tailored to your career path. Thake advantage of every opportunity for on the job growth, tuition reimbursement, one-on-one mentoring with senior managers, or lunchtime seminars. The more you know, the more you grow.

I will make use of all the resources God provides to help me reach my goals.
